M. Katherine MichaelM. Katherine Michael, Legal Assistant

M. Katherine Michael is a practicing legal assistant and has been associated with Meisner & Associates, P.C. for over 25 years.  Ms. Michael received her Bachelor Degree from Oakland University and an American Bar Association (ABA) approved Legal Assistant Certificate from Oakland University.  She is a member of the Legal Assistants Section of the State Bar of Michigan and has served as Vice President and Regional Director of the Legal Assistants Association of Michigan.  Ms. Michael concentrates her work in drafting and amending master deeds, bylaws, declarations, and other community association documents; the development of new condominiums (both site and traditional), conversion condominiums, new subdivision development, from inception through turnover of control; and performing other community association legal work.  She has lectured widely at seminars throughout Southeastern Michigan and at Association and Board of Director meetings on Condominium governance, rules, restrictions, amendment issues and the amendment process.  Ms. Michael has co-authored articles on condominium operation and amendments, also co-authoring the popular Booklet: Condominium Operation: Getting Started and Staying on The Right Track.


Teresa DuddlesTeresa L. Duddles, Legal Assistant

Teresa L. Duddles has been associated with Meisner & Associates, P.C. for over 20 years. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Michigan State University, College of Social Science, School of Criminal Justice in 1985 and was awarded an American Bar Association approved Legal Assistant Certificate from Lansing Community College in 1989, graduating in the Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Fraternity. Ms. Duddles is a member of the Legal Assistants section of the State Bar of Michigan and was elected into a two (2) year term as a council member for the section.  Ms. Duddles concentrates in the area of Condominium/Community Association assessments collection including lien, litigation and foreclosure, condominium/community association bylaw enforcement, critiquing and assisting in the preparation of condominium documents, condominium document amendments, drafting of Rules and Regulations for Associations, and is accomplished with regard to intricacies of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Ms. Duddles also has concentrated her time in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 Bankruptcy filings as they relate to Condominium/Community Associations.


Betty WardBetty Ward, Collection Specialist

Betty A. Ward joined the staff of Meisner & Associates in November 2010.  She obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree with Honors in Financial Administration from Madonna University in 1994.  She spent 25 years in the Mortgage Servicing industry specializing in all facets of Foreclosure and Loss Mitigation.  The past 7 years she has spent working for law firms specializing in creditor foreclosure, bankruptcy and eviction work.  She is currently pursuing an American Bar Association approved Legal Assistant Certificate from Oakland Community College.  Ms. Ward concentrates in the area of Condominium/Community Association assessments collection including lien, litigation and foreclosure.



Lindsay WilliamsLindsay N. Williams, Legal Assistant

Lindsay N. Williams was promoted to legal assistant at Meisner & Associates, P.C. in 2011 after obtaining her ABA approved Paralegal Associates Degree from Oakland Community College where she routinely made the Dean’s List.  Ms. Williams initially joined this firm in February of 2008 as a File Clerk and Court courier.  Through her hard work and dedication, she was soon promoted to Legal Secretary.  Ms. Williams is a member of the Collection Team and assists the Litigation Team as part of her regular duties at the firm.
